Catizen, the popular click-to-earn game on Telegram, has reached a significant milestone, becoming the highest-grossing app on the platform with 800,000 paying users. This achievement was announced on September 7. The game, which was launched in early 2024, has attracted over 34 million players in just six months, generating an average revenue of $33 per user.

Developed by PLUTO Studio, Catizen allows players to raise virtual cats and earn rewards through Telegram, using Web3 technology. The game’s rapid success has been supported by recent investments from Binance Labs, HashKey, and The Open Platform (TOP), with these organizations assisting with the game’s blockchain infrastructure and legal compliance.

An upcoming event for Catizen’s community is the airdrop of its native $CATI token, which is set to occur on September 20, 2024, with 40% of the total supply being distributed to players. This airdrop, along with pre-market trading on major exchanges like OKX, Bitget, and Bybit, has generated excitement as the token is currently priced at around $0.50.

The success of Catizen demonstrates how blockchain technology can transform casual gaming by offering players real-world financial incentives through gameplay. With plans to expand into additional mini-games, Catizen aims to become a significant player in the Web3 gaming ecosystem.
