On the evening of July 31, Donald Trump began accepting pre-orders for his Bitcoin sneakers, priced from $299 to $499 per pair, following his speech at the Bitcoin 2024 event in Nashville.
Notably, each pair is a limited edition and individually numbered. Customers can pay with Bitcoin or their preferred cryptocurrency.
The Trump Sneakers come in three limited editions, featuring a simple design with the phrase “Trump Crypto President” and the Bitcoin logo. Five lucky buyers will even receive a pair autographed by the former president.
Within three hours of launch, 1,000 pairs of orange high-top sneakers sold out and are now being resold by scalpers on eBay, starting at $700. However, through direct auction, prices have soared up to $2,500.
The remaining two editions (black high-top and orange low-top sneakers) are still available on the Trump Sneaker website, priced at $299, and have not yet appeared on eBay.
