Pudgy Penguins’ Trading Volume Jumped by 241% After Teaming Up with Walmart

Pudgy Penguins got a big boost in people buying and selling their digital stuff after teaming up with Walmart. From September 24 to October 1, they made $3.32 million in trades, which is way more (241% more!) than the week before. This is the most they’ve made in a week since July.

Walmart is going to sell Pudgy Penguin toys in 2,000 of its stores. If you buy one of these toys for up to $12, you can play games online in a place called Pudgy World and make a special digital character. These toys have been available online since May, but now that they’re in Walmart, more people will know about them. Each toy comes with a special birth certificate, and by scanning a code, you can get cool things for your online character.

Walmart is a huge store, so this partnership is making Pudgy Penguins more famous, especially among people who might not know much about digital stuff.

Pudgy Penguins has been doing really well since it started in 2021, making $400 million in sales. They became popular by using social media and cool marketing ideas. This is different from other digital collections that had a hard time getting attention.

Even though some people don’t like digital things because their prices can change a lot, teaming up with big stores like Walmart helps these digital collections reach more people and become more popular.

Walmart is going to sell 16 different Pudgy Toys, priced from $2.99 to $11.97. Another company called PMI Kids’ World, known for making toys based on famous shows like WWE, is making these toys.
