On August 8, Binance officially announced the listing of TON (Toncoin) token and applied seed tag on this crypto.
Binance stands as the largest crypto exchange worldwide, while TON represents a decentralized and open-source Layer 1 blockchain with the most remarkable growth rate in 2024. TON is a blockchain created using technology developed by the Telegram team.
Details of the TON token listing plan are as follows:
- Listing time: 10:00 on 08/08/2024 (UTC)
- New spot trading pairs: TON/BTC, TON/USDT, TON/FDUSD and TON/TRY.
- TON listing fee: 0 BNB.
- Toncoin Network Explorer: tonviewer.com, tonscan.org, tonscan.com
- Users can now start depositing TON to Binance to prepare for trading. Withdrawals will be open from 10:00 on 09/08/2024 (UTC).
Binance will list @ton_blockchain $TON with Seed Tag applied.

The seed tag will be applied to TON. The Seed Tag represents projects that may have higher volatility and risk compared to other tokens.
To gain access to trading seed tag tokens, users will need to pass the corresponding tests every 90 days on Binance Spot/Binance Margin and accept the Terms of Use.
The tests are designed to ensure users are aware of the risks before trading tokens with seed tag. A risk warning banner will also be displayed for all tokens with this tag applied.
Binance recommends that users perform adequate risk management and DYOR (Do Your Own Research) to fully understand the project before deciding to trade the token.
Binance also noted that users in some regions such as Canada, Cuba, North Korea, etc. will not be able to trade the above spot pairs.
In general, the event of Binance listing the spot token TON has been long awaited by the project community. The TON token was previously listed on Binance Futures in early March this year.
After the news, the price of the TON token increased sharply by 6% in just 1 hour, from $5.96 to $6.29 at the time of writing.
In 2024, the TON blockchain will benefit greatly from the rapid growth of tap-to-earn games, including popular titles like Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Tapswap.
